Joe Biden has finally walked the plank. After intensive pressure from the Stalinist wing of the Democratic party, an otherwise decent human being has been made to suffer the ultimate humiliation of being told that because of concerns over his age, and mental fitness, he should give up his pursuit of a second term in the White House for the good of the country. Never mind that millions of Democrats cast their ballots for Biden in the primaries. But wait, aren’t the same people who ultimately strong-armed Biden to relinquish his reelection bid because of concerns over his mental health the very same people who were telling us before Biden’s disastrous debate performance how hale, hardy, and mentally alert he was? You couldn’t plant enough flowers to kill the smell of hypocrisy and duplicity that Democratic party operatives and leaders’ reek of at the moment.

For three- and one-half years Americans were told that their eyes were deceiving them regarding the factually unassailable deterioration of Joe Biden. The falls off of bicycles and up the staircase of Air Force 1 were imaginary. The mental freezes, garbled syntax and mindless wandering off point were not a reflection of anything other than the usual gaffe laden performances Biden specializes in. Biden’s handlers knew this about their man from the outset and were willing to bolster him in the presidency so long as he didn’t represent a threat to their holding on to power. Well, Joe couldn’t produce, so now he had to be become a sacrificial lamb as well. How is it that if Democratic apparatchiks were so concerned about Biden’s mental acuity and ability to properly function as a candidate, they somehow didn’t have the same concerns about him with respect to discharging the duties of his office as president of the United States? The reason is because this whole fiasco was never about Joe Biden, rather, about trying to desperately figure out how to hold onto power, power that is fast hurdling toward defeat for Democrats up and down the ticket in November. Biden was the useful fool until the obvious could no longer be concealed. The likes of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and their entire supporting cast of fawning, fraudulent camp followers willingly perpetrated the Biden myth until they saw defeat staring them straight in the face, and then cut their candidate loose. The heartless betrayal and cunningly inhuman political calculus stinks to high heaven.

No number of feigned declarations that Joe Biden is some sort of patriot for doing what he did will conceal the Three-card monte scam Democratic party elites played the American people for. No amount of talk from people like Joe Manchin about how Biden is now free to pursue the unfinished work of his presidency over the next five- and one-half months will convince anyone how much better off we are because he decided to quit the race. U.S. Attorney Robert Hur best described what happened with Joe Biden in the summary he provided concerning Biden’s own document retention case, namely, ”He would present himself to a jury as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Biden’s political friends and allies devoured that assessment like a succulent orange, then tossed away the peel.
